Two people died when their vehicles collided on Main Street in Sunset Sunday evening, police said.
SUNSET — A 45-year-old woman and her 11-year-old daughter were transported to the hospital after a hit-and-run in a crosswalk near 75 W. 1800 North, police said. According to Sunset Police Sgt. Brett Jamison, at about 7:30 p.m. a mother and daughter were hit by what a pickup truck. "A vehicle that was westbound hit both pedestrians and then fled the scene," Jamison said.
