Nearly 100 artists will exhibit their work at the 30th Annual Juried Art Exhibition at the Art Barn School of Art outside Valparaiso.

Themes of identity, persona and power, in particular, are highlighted in the more than 100 works on display.

"Call and Response" is a multi-faceted project created by Douglas Witmer, abstract artist. The exhibit includes several new large-scale works.

Her co-founding of the Midwest Museum of American Art in 1978 coincided with the rise in respect for domestic artists.
