Burke County officials say property taxes won't increase
Burke County commissioners and staff kicked off the budget season for the upcoming fiscal year with a two-day workshop on Thursday and Friday. After the workshop ended on Friday, Burke County Board of Commissioners Chairman Jeff Brittain said it’s too early to say where the property tax rate may land for 2024-25 but he’s not anticipating an increase.
