Courtesy of Laguna Beach Bushard’s Pharmacy opened a COVID-19 vaccine site at the former Laguna Drug site at 239 Broadway on Tuesday. Pharmacists will be vaccinating by appointment Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until they receive a bigger supply of the Moderna vaccine and then will expand hours availability. All California residents who are at least 16 years old became eligible to be vaccinated for COVID-19 on April 15. Laguna Beach city staffers recently approved a temporary use permit from property manager Fritz Dudda Co. to provide the 14,378-square-foot storefront, which is owned by Broadway Laguna Partners LP, at no cost to Bushard’s as a COVID-19 vaccination site.
