SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — San Francisco has agreed to a contract with free agent tight end Logan Thomas, giving the 49ers a proven backup to All-Pro George Kittle.

Looks like the 49ers will be gaining a new face in their tight end room as they are reportedly working to sign free agent Logan Thomas formerly of the Commanders.
The veteran spent most of his 4 seasons in Dallas on special teams. He'll now join a Lions TE room led by Sam LaPorta.
