Three suspects attempted to rob a man who was servicing an ATM near the Academic Center Wednesday, according to a Metropolitan Police Department report. The victim of the attempted robbery had just finished servicing the ATM inside the lobby of Rome Hall and was returning to his armored vehicle when an armed suspect ran up to him, demanding he give up a bag of cash containing $150 to $180, according to the report. The report states the victim dropped the bag on the ground and placed his hand on his service pistol, but the suspect and an accomplice fled to a getaway vehicle instead of grabbing...
