Bigler Stouffer, who was convicted of the 1985 murder of a school teacher and the attempted murder of her boyfriend was executed Thursday morning despite pleas for his clemency.
Execution by lethal injection was carried out at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary. At 79, Stouffer was the oldest inmate to be executed in the state.
Bigler Stouffer's execution is set to begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester.
