Hipgnosis Songs, a London investment firm, just bought 50-percent of Young s catalog of 1180 songs.Neil does have the final say on where his music can be placed however. Company founder Merck Mercuriadis told CNBC that Young has never licensed any of his songs for commercials and doesn t expect him to change that policy.
