A recent study from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health suggests that pregnancy may accelerate ageing in young women. Analyzing DNA samples and reproductive histories of 1,735 participants in the Philippines, researchers found that each pregnancy correlated with two to three months of additional biological ageing. Lead author Calen Ryan stressed the need for support for new mothers, urging further research into pregnancy's impact on women's health.
