Maddox Theatre, Clark Arts Center
Directors, Prof. Timm Adams & Tim Anderson

Join Rockford University choirs and special guest Camerata Emanon in a glorious fall concert celebrating the power of singing to uplift and inspire. This mostly sacred program features Vivaldi’s exuberant Gloria (RV 589) for chorus and soloists with chamber orchestra. Mendelssohn’s Psalm 98, Pablo Casals’ “O vos omnes,” and an array of Spanish songs, early hymns, and spirituals rounds out this celestial collection of songs.

Chamber choir Camerata Emanon and Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center present 'Of Moon and Stars,' a musical celebration of warmth, wisdom & wonder of our night-time celestial companions, a source of inspiration for musical & poetic arts throughout the ages, featuring timeless pieces by Schubert, Barber, Brubeck, Thompson & Lauridsen, gems from the contemporary choral repertoire by Elder, La Barr and Hill, and more.
