We have a strong community of veterans, and now we have a wonderful facility (Camp Jack) for services and activities for veterans and their families. It will be so nice when the promised funds arrive and they can start updating that building that has quite a history of its own.

As part of this year’s Cruisin’ for Vets car, truck and motorcycle show on Sept. 30, Camp Jack will be hosting the “Most Patriotic Pooch” parade and pageant. Any dog can enter, and the winner will be awarded not only a crown and sash but also a valuable gift basket stuffed with treats and goodies.
