Earth Fest at Debate Square in Freeport celebrates nature
Jane Lethlean, correspondent The Journal-Standard FREEPORT — Against the backdrop of a bright blue sky with summer heat, Debate Square on Saturday became the place of nature lovers and those wanting to learn about conservation. Organizers came up with Earth Fest after two years of weather and COVID-19 issues disrupted holding Earth Day events in April.
