ABC6 meteorologist Bill Gile shares why you need to be careful about weather forecasts from social media following a trend of Hurricane Lee TikTok videos.

A blizzard is headed straight for Cape Cod and the Islands.The National Weather Service says that the storm is expected to hit around midnight tonight, bringing 1 to 2 feet of snow, Northeast winds higher than 60 miles per hour, and potential flooding.

Cape Cod Weather: Morning flurries You might be seeing some snow falling when you wake up this morning, but don't panic. Thursday morning will have flurries before eventually clearing off. It will remain cloudy and cool with a high temperature of 39 and low of 29.

Sunday might be calm and sunny, but the weather is expected to take turn starting Monday. Cape Cod could see up to two inches of snow beginning Monday and stretching into Tuesday. There is a chance it will be the slushy kind of snow as rain could possibly mix itself in. If you plan on heading off Cape, you'll be driving into a foot or more of the white stuff. Wind gusts wil be near 41 mph, calling for a high wind watch. Sunday will be clear but with clouds increasing in the afternoon. High temperature will be 29 with a low of 24.
