Killer of human beings. shepard: democrats also say the repeal would actually increase the deficit and the congressional budget office agrees. but republicans are accusing them of using fuzzy math to make the claim. jim angle is live on capitol hill tonight. jim, the two parties are pretty far apart on this one and you wonder where the people are on it. i will say, shep. as you said, the congressional budget office or c.b.o. originally said the bill would reduce the deficit. that is why you now have democrats saying if you are going to repeal it, that would increase the deficit. as far as i can tell, this is the most expensive one-page bill in american history. now, the cbo originally said the law would save $143 billion in the first 10 years. but republicans released an analysis that shows not repealing it would increase the deficit by 701 billion. almost a trillion-dollar ....

Candidate bob dole was back in a washington hospital. it s unclear whether he is still there tonight. we can t figure it out. sources tell fox news walter reid medical center admitted the former republican from kansas just yesterday. abc news reports the hospital released him later in the day. we can t confirm that the 87-year-old spent 10 months at walter reid last year after a bout with pneumonia. i m shepard smith. this is the fox report. it s the bottom of the hour, time for the top of the news. the difference between what the federal government takes in and what it spends got smaller over the last three months. the number crunchers on capitol hill report the budget deficit was down 4.6%, compared with the same period just one year ago. but that only brought it down to a still sizeable $371 billion. and it was due to an increase in revenue, that means more taxes. not because of a cut in government spending at all. experts warn the trend is not sustainable and america s debt ....
