Yesterday, the coast guard ordered bp to conduct pressure tests of the well itself and also the capping system at the top that was put in place one month ago today. bp has been ordered to test the well and to test the capping system for any additional pressures that may come along as they do the bottom kill. now the coast guard is waiting for bp to turn in these results which could be monday or tuesday. the government scientists will go over them and at that point the coast guard will give bp the go ahead to complete the final kill operation. the coast guard says that will take place, but it wants to see those numbers first. once the go ahead is given, it will take four days to regear, redrill the operation, down to a point where it can intersect the bottom of the well and at that point, they will begin pumping mud and cement in. the time frame looks like probably next weekend, alex, when all this will be going on. it appears in the end of sight. thank you so much. general david pe ....
