Around 40 artists have been announced for the Beat The Streets Festival 2022, which once again gives Nottinghamshire musicians a prominent place on the line-up, all playing for a good cause.

>> reporter: good morning, alex. >> a bit of talk earlier this week that the crews possibly would not have to finish drilling that relief well because the current cap was so successful when it stopped the oil from leaking. is that still the case? >> well, remember the cap on top that was placed there july 15th was only temporary. last week, bp at the direction of the coast guard began what they call a static kill where they pour thousands of pounds of heavy mud and cement into the top of the well. it's thought some of that cement made it all the way down 13,000 feet down to the bottom of the w...

Put in recently. rick leventhal is in new orleans for us now. what exactly are they looking for, rick, and what do they hope they can learn? >> reporter: well, jon, they're looking to see whether the temporary ceiling of that well, the static kill, actually turned out to be a permanent solution. they pumped cement and heavy drilling mud into the well from the top last week, they finished the job last week. it hasn't leaked since, so they're running pressure tests to see whether or not there is a solid seal down there. we expect to learn very soon whether they believe it is solid. thad allen, t...
