Shake-ups continue in the administration of the Kenosha County Sheriffâs Department, with the head of the detentions division placed on administrative leave. The department confirmed that Capt. Bill Beth was placed on leave Monday. On the same day, Capt. Robert Hallisy, the Operations Division commander overseeing the Patrol and Operations Divisions, retired. Hallisy had been placed on administrative leave in January and had never returned to duty before his retirement. In both cases, the department would not comment on the reason for the leave. Sheriff David Beth said he could not comment and referred questions to the countyâs Human Resources Department. ....

Police: New London woman charged with murder in death of 4-year-old son FacebookTwitterEmail 3of3 NEW LONDON Investigators obtained an arrest warrant Sunday charging a local woman with the death of her 4-year-old son, city police said. Police identified the woman as 33-year-old Tiffany Farrauto, a New London resident, in a news conference Sunday. She faces charges of murder and risk of injury after her son was found “unresponsive and unconscious” in her apartment Sunday morning by officers responding to a report of a woman smashing a car with a baseball bat, police said. “We’ve lost a second child in the city to violence in as many weeks, this time a 4-year-old,” Mayor Michael Passero said in the news conference. “Our community is hurting.” ....
