A Gauteng man has been handed a hefty sentence for a slew of charges connected to 10 police dockets.

More than 1 000 suspects were scheduled to appear in different courts in Gauteng after they were arrested for crimes including murder, rape, dealing in drugs, robberies and driving under the influence of alcohol.
