Firefighters Respond to Fatal Traffic Collision May. 07, 2021 at 1:00 pm On Wednesday evening May 5, at 10:24 p.m. Santa Monica Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a Traffic Collision on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway, east of the Centinela Ave. off ramp. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a significant two vehicle collision with five victims, two of which required specialized rescue tools to extricate from the wreckage.
