●特殊基因與心血管疾病風險息息相關
若是單獨父親有心臟病，兒子罹患心臟病的風險高出一般人41%，女兒罹患心臟病的風險高出一般人17%；若是單獨母親有心臟病，兒子罹患心臟病的風險高出一般人55%，女兒罹患心臟病的風險高出一般人44%。
張釗監指出，若是父母雙親都有心臟病，孩子罹患心臟病的風險高出一般人82%。若是家長罹患心血管疾病的時期較早(55歲之前)，孩子們罹患心臟病的風險高出一般人300%。遺傳性心血管疾病相關危險因子還有高血壓、高膽固醇、糖尿病等等。但這些風險是可以配合醫療與良好作息改善。
●抽血就能預估冠狀動脈疾病風險
張釗監進一步說明，透過檢測套組分析44種與心血管疾病風險相關基因及配合心臟影像學檢查，可依罹病風險高低與影像分析區分受檢者，提供不同照護模式。故該檢測結果有助於糖尿病人經由適當的營養調理，運動與持續醫療追蹤，降低日後心血管併發症的風險。
