27 PACIFIC OCEAN – Logistics Specialist 1st Class Carlton Cross, a native of Americus, Georgia, is serving as leading petty officer in the supply department aboard Nimitz-class nuclear aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). He is responsible for both allocating needed supplies throughout the ship and management of junior Sailors.
