Soroptimist International Wexford has donated over €10,000 to Cycle Against Suicide as it does its bit to break the stigmas surrounding mental health. Having nominated Cycle Against Suicide as its chosen charity for 2023, the Soroptimists undertook a number of fundraising activities throughout the year, culminating in a presentation of €10,051.10 at the Riverbank House Hotel last week,
Over 250 soroptimists gathered in the Ferrycarrig Hotel on Saturday to celebrate Nollaig na mBan (Women’s Christmas) as the Wexford branch hosted an event which sought to highlight the work of the charities it supports. Members were joined by National President of Soroptimists Ireland (SI) Aisling Nolan and her club president Eileen from SI North Kildare.
