Weve been in the rain for the past 30 minutes or so. Early this morning it was more off and on. Now were experienced more ready rain as the bulk of the storm pushes on shore. It is going to make land fall just to our southwest over the next few hours. The winds should stay sustained like this at 3540 Miles Per Hour for the next couple of hours. Where were standing on galveston island is the seawall. It protects the city. We just reached high tide in the last half hour. Theres no beach. This is normally a public beach.
