(NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Post 14 Eagles lost for the first time in the West Region this season on Tuesday as the Dickinson Volunteers defeated Jamestown 4-3 in game one before the Eagles crushed Dickinson 14-1 in game two. The Eagles got on the scoreboard in the first inning behind a leadoff single from Gage Orr, who eventually came around to score on a passed ball. JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The combined efforts of Jacoby Nold and Carson Orr on the mound Thursday night propelled the Post 14 Eagles to a 5-0 win over Minot’s Post 26 Metros. Gage Orr was the sparkplug on offense for Jamestown, moving up from ninth in the order to fifth and going 2-for-3 with two runs driven in and a run scored. Connor Hoyt finished 1-for-1 with two walks and an RBI, and Brooks Roaldson brought in a run while going 1-for-2. (NewsDakota.com) – The bats were alive at Jack Brown Stadium on Wednesday night as the Jamestown Post 14 Eagles fell 11-8 to the Fargo Post 400 Stars to open up the Legion baseball season. Fargo jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning and would tack on five more runs over the course of the next two frames to go in front 8-2 heading into the bottom of the third.
