Blue Jays Drop Two At Home Versus Legacy

JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown baseball team faced off against the top team in the WDA in Legacy on Tuesday night as the Jays fell 4-0 and 7-6 to the Sabres at Jack Brown Stadium. Jamestown struggled to get the bats going in game one as Legacy scored three runs in the third inning off of starter Jacoby Nold. The senior went six innings on the hill in game one, allowing just four hits while striking out two, but the Jays offense failed to supply run support for its starter. Mason Lunzman pitched one inning in game one and finished the first game 2-for-3 at the plate.

Gall Sparks Comeback as Blue Jays Defeat Bismarck

JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Blue Jay baseball season kicked off on Thursday night and sophomore Ethan Gall sparked a three-run fourth inning to lead the Jays past Bismarck High 5-3 in the opening game. Gall doubled off the wall with two outs in the fourth inning for the first hit of the game for Jamestown. The Jays were trailing 3-1 before Mason Lunzman singled to continue the frame.
