bridges in the sunshine state. what are your thoughts on ron desantis's political future on the eve of the iowa caucus? >> i think tomorrow's iowa caucus is the closest to the white house ron desantis will ever get. and i know the candidate himself wants to play an expectation game, and so do pundits, a songs -- strong finish there looking for. rev, ron desantis has to outrun win iowa if he wants to change this narrative. he's in fourth place in new hampshire, he 60 points behind in nevada, he's third place in south carolina. warming up to a second place finish in iowa does nothing for him. and even if he wins, what would that do for santorum and huckabee and ted cruz? i think tomorrow night, ron desantis and his partner on the trail, his wife, casey, need to decide if they're even going to continue this race. because his time in presidential politics is over. he might have a future in presidential politics akin to kind of a jeb bush or mike huckabee, always flipping with it but never able to get their.

attacks against the judge, as well as the attorney general. joining me right now, kristy greenberg, former federal prosecutor and former deputy head of the criminal division at sdny. welcome back here on this saturday, my friends. so, this scene uray, it was wild, right? trump refused to stick to the facts of the case. then, lost his mind when the judge indicated he had one more minute, saying things lis is a fraud on me. the person in the room right now hates trump. he said he should be paid for being prosecuted, telling the judge, i know this is boring to get. you have your own agenda. yot listen for more than one minute? judge engoron at that point said, mr. casey, plea control your kaiya client. it's this circus act, christy, precisely what the judge was trying to avoid? what does this kind of behavior by trump, and do you think he's going to get away with it on tuesday? >> so, the judge should never have allowed donald trump to speak. this is clearly going to be a temper tantrum thrown by a toddler.
hypothetical in which perhaps a drone strike would have to be ordered by a president in very difficult circumstances where, whether it's criminal or not is unclear and in that very limited circumstance where a president has to make an instantaneous decision for national security, there might be some kind of immunity. but nothing about this case is close in that way. and therefore it's quite possible that the supreme court would say we don't want to use a slam dunk case like this in order to explore a bunch of hypotheticals. this casey's slam dunk for the reasons that you've already explored, but even more extremely, if it really were the case that you have to be impeached and convicted first, it would look like a president faced conviction, he could get seal team six to kill the senators who would vote to convict him and make it impossible to be convicted.
