Advocates hail hazardous substance designation for PFAS | Energy and Environment
Water quality advocates see protection in the United States Environmental Protection Agency's hazardous substance designation for two of the most common PFAS, PFOA and PFOS. PFAS have an especially toxic legacy in West Virginia stemming from the Washington Works facility originally operated by DuPont near Parkersburg.
