The official said accordingly, department/office-wise arrangements were made for acceptance of letters, applications and memorandums at the central unit of Mantralaya.
The 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion consisted of all but two Black women who were charged with the special task of mail delivery to boost morale during World War II. In 2021 the battalion was honored for their commitment and service to their country.
