A Massachusetts pharmacist has opened a new pharmacy across the street from the Bristol Health Medical Center on Main Street in the heart of downtown. Muhammad Furqan, who lives in Worcester, Mass. but said he will be relocating soon to the area, will be leasing the approximate 2,000-square-foot site for his Bristol Pharmacy, located at 194 Main St. Furqan is a licensed pharmacist in Connecticut and Massachusetts.  Bristol Mayor Jeff Caggiano said the pharmacy fits perfectly in the area, which has been the site of several vacant buildings.
