WOMAD has announced the first wave of artists on this summer’s line-up at Charlton Park in Malmesbury. To beat a pandemic travel ban when it returns from July 22 to 25, it will be showcasing world musicians currently based in Britain. Founded by Peter Gabriel in 1980, WOMAD has given musicians from Africa, Asia and South America the opportunity to perform in front of a UK audience.
