This included causing the fraudulent electors to meet on the day appointed by federal law on which illegitimate electors were to gather to cast their votes, cast fraudulent votes for the defendant, and sign certificates falsely representing that they were legitimate electors. and as the president and his allies are facing criminal charges for coming up with a scheme, many of the people in each of those seven states who agreed to participate as fake electors, they are likely to face criminal charges as well. 84 people, 84 republicans in those seven states signed their names to act as fake electors to overturn the election, and some of those fake electors have already been charged. the indictment out of fulton county explains that scheme. it refers to, quote, the enterprise, meaning that trump and the 18 other individuals charged in the indictment, it reads, quote, members of the enterprise made false ....
