Finger Lakes Boating Museum to hold events

The Finger Lakes Boating Museum, 8231 Pleasant Valley Road, Hammondsport, will hold a number of upcoming events.
Historian Mike O’Brien will present a lecture on the Grumman Boat Co. at 7 p.m. April 15 virtually and in-person. Log-in details will appear at flbm.org.
Jim Hofschneider will teach folks techniques of wood finishing from raw wood through varnishing/painting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 17 at the museum. Cost: $30, members; $35, nonmembers. To register: 607-569-2222 or emailing info@flbm.org.
May events will include a lecture on canoeing/kayaking in the Finger Lakes on May 13, Keuka Dragons on May 19, a workshop for making a dragon boat paddle May 22 and a concert series performance from Tommy Gravino and Mary Monroe on May 23. ....
