Finger Lakes Boating Museum to hold events The Leader The Finger Lakes Boating Museum, 8231 Pleasant Valley Road, Hammondsport, will hold a number of upcoming events. Historian Mike O’Brien will present a lecture on the Grumman Boat Co. at 7 p.m. April 15 virtually and in-person. Log-in details will appear at flbm.org. Jim Hofschneider will teach folks techniques of wood finishing from raw wood through varnishing/painting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 17 at the museum. Cost: $30, members; $35, nonmembers.
