Warren County Democrats are accusing Phillipsburg Town Council President Frank McVey of “intentionally and maliciously” mispronouncing a woman’s name.

The Warren County Democrats today issued a statement regarding Phillipsburg Council President Frank McVey’s sexist remarks during last Thursday’s meeting of the public land use board.
“As we begin Women’s History Month, we are completely astounded that a woman voicing her concerns during an open government meeting could be attacked in such a vicious and sexist nature.
