North and south korea have held talks for the first time in more than two years. A week ago the north was threatening nuclear war so this is progress of a sort. Two important things came out of these talks. First, an agreement to hold more talks to ease military tensions on the border. Second, north korea will send a large delegation to the Winter Olympics in south korea next month that will include athletes and cheerleaders.
