Wires caught on the marker. The u. S. Coast guard said the mast broke off and crashed down on top of the cree. There were five sailors killing one and injuring two others. A small boat was nearby and rescued the crew. A witness saw them coming into the dock at the port of redwood city and it is where they unloaded the body of the dead sailor. They were frantic.
