Up close, however, it was clear this was no classic Chevrolet. It was a sporty coupe called the SS Dolphin.

Back in the Twenties , Ettore Bugatti built one of these for his then-four-year-old son Roland. Soon enough, people who had seen it running around the factory loved it. The car was a hit, so much so that Ettore put them into production, building 500 for customers around the world. It was based on his Type 35 Grand Prix car, a vehicle Bugatti said was the winningest race car in history, with more than 2,000 victories.
