ELLWOOD CITY – Five candidates are running for four four-year seats as directors of the Riverside School District in the May 18 primary.
Incumbent Roger Radevski will face newcomers Mathew Lawrence, Daniel Kelosky, Kate Reed and Chris Chill on both the Democrat and Republican ballots, as all candidates have cross-filed.
Lawrence, 41, is a North Sewickley Township resident. A father of two young boys and an Army veteran with a Master of Science in exercise physiology, he s an expert in health and safety. Currently a project manager and senior adviser for a health care company, Lawrence has worked in health care, research and analytics for 16 years and been an active member of the community, helping to coach soccer and T-ball in the district and volunteering for Trail Life, an organization similar to the Boy Scouts that teaches outdoor skills and leadership.
