Has a suggestion for the fourth of july stay at home. Hoping the city does not attract a crowd. The request is all about safety, of course, during this coronavirus surge. Reporter santa cruz beaches reopened last week after the city admitted they simply couldnt keep people away. Today, the mayor is asking you to do what a beach ban could not. Were still encouraging everyone to shelter in place. Reporter the mayor says if you do decide to come here, be careful.
