Amtrak shared its vision for Vermont travel to major cities in a new map published Wednesday.
President Joe Biden revealed his American Jobs Plan Wednesday, which includes an $80 billion allocation to Amtrak for the service s backlog of repairs, improvements and expansion. The rail service published a map Wednesday of routes, including those in Vermont, assuming it receives the funds. Vermont officials recently announced hopes for Amtrak s return in the coming months after service for the two routes in the state was suspended due to COVID last year.
