SALISBURY, MD. – This week the motto is “Doing The Most Good,” at least for the Salvation Army of the Lower Eastern Shore as National Salvation Army Week kicks off. Today, Officers and staff kicked off the week providing lunch to customers, showing their appreciation to the community. The organization also provides shelter to those experiencing homelessness and meals to the hungry. The Salvation Army has been working with communities on the Eastern Shore for 108 years and they say their work is far from done. “Because we know that people have fallen on hard times, all of us have fallen on hard times with the pandemic. We just want to show the community that we are here and we are here to support you in anyway that we can,” said Captain Christina Trantham. ....
