RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Animal health startup Resilient Biotics’ five-year progress is drawing big interest from investors. Some 18 of them have put more than $7.1 million into the company, which has offices and a lab in RTP. According to a securities filing signed by CEO and founder Christopher Belnap, the company doesn’t see the funding lasting more than a year. The company’s lead product is designed to treat Bovine Respiratory Disease, according to the N.C. Biotechnology Center.
