Sophia Capra, originally from St. Louis, is a vocal performance major at Southeast, studying with faculty member Dr. Christopher Goeke. She has sung numerous roles in Southeast’s opera productions and has served as a member of professional choirs since the age of twelve.
Christopher Goeke and Barbara Lamont from Southeast’s Department of Music will present “Songs for Tenor and Piano.” <br/><br/>The recital will include songs about youth, love, beauty, and time and will include works by Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy, Ralph Vaughn Williams and Benjamin Britten.<br/><br/>The evening will conclude with some “saucy” cabaret songs by Kandor and Ebb and others.<br/><br/>The recital will take place on <b>Thursday, September 8 at 7:30 p.m.</b> in the Shuck Recital Hall at Southeast’s River Campus.
