“When they start referring to Lincoln as the mini Vegas, you have to step back and really look at what is going on," the mayor of Lincoln said.

Lincoln Courier Tracy Welch and Rick Hoefle were winners after voters went to the polls Tuesday to determine who will be on the ballot in April for Lincoln's next mayor. Tracy Welch, who has served as the acting mayor after Seth Goodman resigned in June, won with 340 votes representing 84.16% against Steve Messner who received 64 votes at 15.84%.
