The World War II fleet submarine USS Bowfin will reopen to the public at Pearl Harbor after returning from dry-dock maintenance.
The USS Bowfin will be towed from Pearl Harbor for scheduled maintenance and repair work, which is conducted every 15 to 20 years to maintain the integrity of its hull.
There will be traditional ceremonies, the Eglin gate-to-gate memorial run, a memorial workout in honor of a 7th Special Forces soldier
Hawaii residents along with active military and their guests can enjoy live entertainment, face painting, STEM demonstrations, and access to the recently renovated submarine museum.
