On January 16, 2024 the voters of Hope will have the opportunity to show their support for regulating and controlling industrial mining in our residential community of Hope Maine. A special Town Meeting will be held at the Hope Elementary School.

UNION – The Union Select Board will convene this evening to consider extending the moratorium on metallic mining for another 180 days. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., in the William L. Pulled Municipal Building meeting room, and will be streamed.
