Ron Scholl, chairman of the new group, Friends of the Dawn Theater, notes that through the efforts and vision of key community leaders, downtown Hillsdale can become a showcase for its residents and a destination for those outside of the community. Shortly after the beginning of this year, we organized a small group of talented and motivated individuals under the name Friends of the Dawn Theater to spearhead efforts to support the Dawn Theater, Scholl said. The mission of the Friends of the Dawn Theater is to: Promote community support, fundraising and programing for the revitalized Dawn Theater in downtown Hillsdale, Michigan. ”
