The remains of a World War II soldier from Minnesota, who was long unaccounted for, have been identified.
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced Thursday that Navy Fireman 1st Class Neal K. Todd of Akeley had been accounted for in February. His remains will be buried on July 10 in Akeley.
Todd was killed on Dec. 7, 1941 on the USS Oklahoma battleship when it was attacked by a Japanese aircraft while moored in Pearl Harbor. Todd was one of 429 crew members killed in the attack. ....
