Highway 16, on the bridge over I-75 on Thursday, Dec. 23, spilling its load down the highway entrance ramp and down into the grassy right-of-way. Man indicted for stealing $11 million while in state prison in Jackson

JACKSON – An Atlanta man currently serving a prison sentence at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Center in Jackson has been indicted for stealing $11 million while in prison. Arthur Cofield and two others have been indicted for conspiracy to commit bank fraud and money laundering. Cofield is an inmate at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson, serving a 14-year sentence for armed robbery.
