Motel One Group has announced its plans to expand The Cloud One Hotels lifestyle brand, by launching 13 hotels by 2026.    

The Group kicked off its expansion plans last month with the opening of its second The Cloud One Hotel - The Cloud One Hamburg-Kontorhaus. The opening follows the successful launch of the brand’s debut New York-Downtown hotel in December 2022, which overlooks the city’s famous skyline and Hudson River.

Founded in 2000, the Munich-based company has won multiple awards for its concept and is considered to have launched the budget design hotel category. The Motel One Group currently operates 92 hotels with 25,817 rooms in 13 countries (as of September 2023). Guests and industry insiders alike enjoy Motel One’s unique combination of high-quality interiors, exclusive design, excellent service and outstanding city centre locations at attractive prices. In 2022, the Group launched the new lifestyle brand The Cloud One Hotels with their first branch in New York.
